Israel says it will exert great force against Gaza’s Hamas rulers after the militants rejected a truce agreement. Israel stood down for 6 hours yesterday while mulling an Egyptian truce but resumed missile attacks in the afternoon after Hamas continued to launch rockets.
“This is interesting. There were actually some news reports that said John Kerry was kept out of the loop with Egypt’s cease-fire plan,” mentioned Morning Answer co-host Elisha Krauss.
“Well that’s not a surprise,” responded Ben Shapiro. “John Kerry stepping in to the loop would have been a problem. He’s not particularly good at any of this… Apparently a lot of the people in the Middle East were telling him to stay out, saying ‘We don’t need you as part of this negotiation.’”
“Awkard!” joked Elisha Krauss.
