Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz says he could see Mitt Romney running and winning the 2016 Presidential election. He made the comments on Monday’s Hardball on MSNBC. “I think he’s going to run for President,” announced Chaffetz. “He [Romney] probably doesn’t want me to say that…but Mitt Romney has always accomplished what he has set out to do. I think he’s been proven right on a lot of stuff. I happen to be in the camp that thinks he’s actually going to run and I think he will be the next president of the United States!”
“Oh no!” lamented Morning Answer co-host Elisha Krauss. “Why Jason? Why? And why Mitt? Why?”
She continued. “You know what’s interesting? I actually read an opinion piece about this the other day, about why Mitt Romney could potentially run and should potentially run in 2016 and I remember reading it and thinking ‘Oh no! This is going to give the dude ideas!’”
“For Mitt Romney, losing twice isn’t enough? Do you HAVE to lose three times? Is he OCD? Does everything have to happen in threes for the guy? This guys got to lose three times for it to feel right?” joked Brian Whitman.
“I don’t believe you,” Ben Shapiro told Brian. “I’ll tell you why I don’t believe you on this particular point…If Hillary ran this time and she were to lose this time…you would say she needs to run again in 2020.”
