New Donald Sterling audio has surfaced. Radar Online obtained a recording of the Clippers owner on the phone with a friend of his after his lifetime ban from the NBA. On the phone call he sounds incredulous that he would be called a racist and asking his friend “don’t you know that I have anything but love in the world for everybody? “ He went on to detail his youth growing up in East LA and that he was elected school President despite the fact he was Jewish and most everyone else was latino and black. Later, Sterling said he was “heartbroken” that Magic Johnson wouldn’t stand up for him.
“So Donald Sterling portraying himself as a victim, does anyone buy that?” wondered Morning Answer co-host Brian Whitman.
“If he LOVES Magic Johnson so much, then why did he tell his mistress not to bring Magic Johnson and other black people to his game?” asked co-host Elisha Krauss.
“I do buy that he’s a victim in a certain sense,” said co-host Ben Shapiro. “In the sense that people are attempting to remove his actual property from him on the basis of his personal views, regardless what I think those personal views are and how horrible I think they are.”
