Clippers owner Donald Sterling is under fire after his ex-girlfriend produced a tape of him allegedly making racist remarks. Latest reports indicate that she has over 100 hours of recordings of Sterling making racially insensitive remarks and is threatening to release them unless she gets more money from Sterling.
“So it’s a setup in the sense that she was taping him, it’s not a setup in the sense that Donald Sterling is indeed a racist – and now we’re all going to feign tremendous outrage that Donald Sterling is a racist, even though we’ve known now for two decades,” pointed out Morning Answer host Ben Shapiro.
“He’s been investigated back in 2006 and then in 2009 for not leasing buildings to Koreans or Latinos,” added Morning Answer co-host Elisha Krauss.
“Right, the NBA welcomes, welcomes Donald Sterling in to its club with open arms when he had the cash to do it, despite allegations of racism but now that he’s said something racist, now they’re all humiliated and we all have to pretend that we’re outraged that Donald Sterling is a racist.”
