Gay Teacher Michael Griffin is out of a job at Holy Ghost Preparatory school in suburban Philadelphia after he applied for a marriage license. Administrators of the private Catholic High School said this is a violation of his contract as educators must follow church teachings. Griffin said he was aware of the provision but was going to go ahead with the ceremony anyway.
“This is going to be an example of where you and I agree,” Morning Answer co-host Brian Whitman told Elisha Krauss. “I think if you sign a contract – I think if he was working for a public school I would have a totally different opinion. He’s working for a Catholic school and he apparently signed the contract.”
“Exactly and I would feel the exact same way if this were a heterosexual man or woman that was living with their boyfriend or girlfriend,” added Elisha Krauss.
