LA Weekly has released a list of the 10 healthiest neighborhoods in LA. Neighborhoods were ranked in terms of crime rates, homicides, car accidents, number of fast food outlets, accessed to modified food, proximity to truck routes, and childhood obesity.
Coming in at #10 were the communities of Palms, Mar Vista and Marina Del Rey. #1 is the Bel Air/Beverlycrest area. “Does that really surprise you?” asked Morning Answer co-host Elisha Krauss.
“No,” replied Morning Answer co-host Ben Shapiro. “The bottom line is it’s really good to be rich. You know what’s incredible though – have you ever driven, like, around South Central LA and looked at the houses?”
“That’s the problem – you guys don’t live with the real people in the community,” remarked Morning Answer co-host Brian Whitman.
“No because in California I’m not allowed to carry a gun in my car legally,” explained Elisha Krauss.
