The Obamacare rollout continues to flounder, the website is still being fixed and we still don’t know how many people actually were able to sign up. However, officials say next week they will disclose how many people were able to enroll in health insurance through the new online marketplace.
“Originally they had told us that we’d get an update every month,” pointed out Morning Answer co-host Elisha Krauss. “Well it launched on October 1st, and today is November 6, so now we're not finding out until next week. That’s more like six to eight weeks before we get a number from them”
“[W]hat’s hilarious about all this is I’m sure they have a dashboard in the back,” explained Ben Shapiro. “I mean all these websites have a dashboard where you can check the traffic and can check the number of people who have enrolled. They know on a day-to-day basis how many people have actually enrolled. They just don’t want to announce it because they would like to bulk it all up in to a number that sounds bigger than it actually is.”
Ben continued, “Now remember, in order for Obamacare to succeed, you need 2.7 million people to sign up for Obamacare within the first year. The chances of that are slim and none. But that’s OK for the Obamacare folks ‘cause the truth is Obamacare was never about Obamacare.”
