American Idol Lawsuit and "White Guilt"

American Idol is facing a lawsuit from ten former contestants alleging they were kicked off the show because of their race.  Each of them is suing for $25 million, claiming that the show used arrest records to make them look like criminals.  They’re also claiming the show only went after African Americans, not whites.

On The Morning Answer, Ben Shapiro listed off the names of the past winners, citing several black contestants who emerged victorious.

“So, it’s not as though the series has thrown black people off the show on a regular basis because it hates black people.  They threw people off because the people weren’t that good,” pointed out Ben.  He then went on to discuss “white guilt” affecting large portions of the white population, including co-host Brian Whitman.
