More than 100 hunger-strikers in Guantanamo Bay are continuing their protest. The US has taken to force feeding about 40 of them.
Rapper Yasiin Bey (you probably know him as Mos Def) recently starred in a film to demonstrate the procedure.
“They hunger strike because it’s their only way of fighting back,” pointed out Morning Answer co-host Ben Shapiro. “They do this mainly because the United States is then forced to force feed them and force feeding is kind of ugly and nasty.” He went on to explain, “My solution for this is if somebody wants not to eat, let’s let them not eat. And at a certain point they’ll realize not eating is bad for you.”
The crew then went on to play a clip from the video, including all the dramatics.
