Morning Answer co-host Brian Whitman is about to “go berserk” after a California law proposes to charge a one cent per ounce tax on sodas.
Brian reports he drinks about two liters of soda a day. “That’s 67 ounces of soda!” remarked a surprised Ben Shapiro. “You would not be friends with Michael Bloomberg.”
Yesterday Brian went to the supermarket and purchased a two liter of Sprite for $2.17. After the tax, he would have to pay almost $2.80.
