The clean up continues after a day of wild waves left a path of destruction along the coast. Crews will be out in force helping in flood areas and assessing damage to the dozens of popular piers.
Most notably, the Cove House Lifeguard Administrative building at Pt. Mugu State Park buckled in to the ocean after being pummled with surf.
Hurricane Marie continues to generate huge waves despite being several hundred miles off coast. The surf is expected to die down over the next few days. However, escue crews will remain on high-alert as over 250 people who dared to brave the strong currents have been pulled from the water since Tuesday.
