A man is behind bars after an hours long standoff with police in Norwalk. Police tried to arrest a 38-year-old man on federal probation for bank robbery Tuesday, when the guy allegedly pointed a gun at a U.S. Marshal before running inside a home on Rosecrans Avenue.
SWAT teams and other agencies surrounded the home, and the man was reportedly wearing a bulletproof vest. About 30 homes in the area had been evacuated until the man finally surrendered about seven-hours later.
