Three men suspected of starting last week's massive wildfire east of Los Angeles remain behind bars. Clifford Henry Jr., Steven Aguirre and Jonathan Jarrell all made initial appearances in federal court Wednesday.
All three are charged with unlawfully starting a fire and face up to five years if convicted. The three allegedly started the Colby Fire by tossing papers into a campfire they had built in the hills of Glendora. Some winds sent embers into brush, which set off the fire. Nearly two-thousand acres were consumed, five homes were destroyed and six people were injured.
Arraignment for the three is scheduled for February 11th.
