The Encino shooting that left a jeweler Amir Wolf in critical condition in front of kids may be an act of retaliation. Wolf waws shot in the chest Wednesday as he exited his Range Rover on Rupert Avenue in Encino, an upscale neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley.
Investigators believe the ambush may be connected to another crime the shooter previously committed and that Wolf may have witnessed. The Wolf family thinks that the shooter may be a relative who allegedly committed a crime in Beverly Hills, and was angry at Wolf for implicating him. Wolf has undergone multiple surgeries and remains in critical but stable condition.
