Gatto Murder Suspect Sketch Released by LAPD

Police have a sketch of a man believed to be connected to the murder of Joesph Gatto, father of Assemblyman Mike Gatto.

LAPD says that on November 12, a woman saw a man breaking in to her car on the 2300 block of Moreno Drive.  When she confronted the man, he pointed a gun and threatened to kill her.  Another witness tried to intervene and the suspect repeated the threat.  The suspect then took off running down public stairs on Tesla Ave.

The suspect is a white male around 20-25 years old, standing about 5-feet-9-inches and weighing 180 pounds.  He wore a multicolored, hooded sweatshirt and tan pants and was wearing a tan backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detectives Barry Telis and Chris Gable at (213)486-6890 or anonymously at 800-222-TIPS.
