A North Hollywood man accused of killing his girlfriend by throwing her out of her car to be hit by freeway traffic in August faces arraignment today.
Prosecutors say 26-year-old Ricardo Jimenez argued with the victim, Maria "Josie" Jimenez before the alleged attack in her car. He was reported by witnesses at a tattoo parlor to be "berating" her. Jimenez turned himself into police the following week. They say the passenger seat of the car the two were in was covered in blood. Investigators say "Josie" was alive when she was pushed out and she died after being hit by multiple cars.
