Officials expect the Springs Fire to be fully contained later today after the cool, rainy weather helped to limit the advance of the flames.
In less than four days over 28,000 acres were left blackened and more than a dozen homes were damaged. By Sunday night, it was almost 75 percent contained. Firefighters took advantage of the change in the weather to build containment lines around the 44 square mile fire.
Officials still have not determined the cause.
